NorthWest SARCon Returns for 2009 !
Submitted by Dave Prouty on Fri, 08/14/2009 - 10:56am.I'm pleased to announce an upcoming SAR conference sponsored by Clackamas County for SAR resources across the region. The conference will be held in Welches from October 15 though the 18th.
Check out the offered segments. The opportunities have increased dramatically from last year's event and this will be an excellent venue to both learn and rub elbows with SAR resources from across the region and beyond !

REOPENED - Hwy 26 East of Sandy

Clackamas County Sheriff Donates 2008 Nissan Titan to PNWSAR !

On the last day of SARCon 2008, The Clackamas County Sheriff's Department donated a new Nissan Titan to PNWSAR. The truck had been donated to CCSO by Jay Lee's Auto Group and we were selected to receive the vehicle. To say the least, we were overwhelmed by this donation and are VERY thankful to Sheriff Roberts, his SAR team as well as Jay Lee. We will certainly put the truck to good use !!

Meeting location change !!!

Hats off to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office for hosting this event. See the CCSO website to find out more and register. http://www.co.clackamas.or.us/sheriff/sarcon/ Most of the cost for this conference will be reimbursed for SAR volunteers groups that belong to the Mt Hood SAR Council.
New location for general membership meetings !
Submitted by Dave Prouty on Fri, 05/23/2008 - 9:28pm.We have outgrown our current meeting room at the fire station. Thanks to the Clackamas County Sheriff's office, we are moving to a larger meeting room. We will have to meet twice in an interim location as our permanent location is booked until August. See the calendar for the new addresses. For June and July, we will meet at the North Precinct. From August on, we will meet at the Clackamas County Service Center down the street on Sunnybrook. Again, actual addresses are on the calendar entries..
Thanks ! It will be nice to have a seat for everyone !
