07/29 Missing Camper, Day Five

The fifth day of searching for Robert Bissell brought four PNW members to the High Rock base.  Immediately deployed into the field to another area of high probability, the team encountered some of the same challenges as the previous teams have.

The terrain was quite steep at times, with an area of blowdown trees that required intense concentration to navigate while still maintaining a high probability of detection.  Another challenge was a talus slope that became an oven in the midday sun.  The insects were merely annoying, and the temperature in the deep tree cover was nicely tolerable.

Communications were excellent, again thanks to Mt. Wave Communications.  PNW has again been asked to respond tomorrow, and through the weekend if necessary.
